It consists of long, fine fibres spun from natural rock bonded with a thermosetting resin and is available in density ranging from 40 kg/m3 to 150 kg/m3.

Fibertex Maritime Rockwool is commonly used in fire and thermal protection of deckhead, bulkhead, floor and equipment on board ships and offshore rigs.
